Emily is 6 and was asked to sing at her schools 4th and 5th grade chorus production. The only 1st grader to sing! The video quality is horrible so please excuse that! I just sat through the whole thing and cried. |

THREE MONTH LID ANNIVERSARY and ramblings
Another month down, I guess a baby step closer.
We got an a website post for our agency in regards to new restrictions/changes coming from China. Supposedly, we will be grandfathered in. The only one I'm worried about is weight if we are not grandfathered in. Well time to get motivated. I need to move it and loose it. So of course, after the holidays, ha ha....My new years resolution will be...yes..the one I have every year...to loose some weight.
You might ask why wait....well the Christmas tree... (Yes I know I'm Jewish -- but we celebrate Christmas because Bill is catholic and Emily still believes in Santa. She is just so cute about it. I cannot break her dreams yet. When I was a kid, I wanted to believe in Santa. I could never understand why Santa didn't come to our house. I do think next year we will only celebrate Hanukkah as it is getting too expensive to do both!) back to the tree..
The christmas tree is occupying the space where the treadmill was....so conveniently I have to wait....
Oh yeah, the wait will not shorten per China....they won't state how long it will get. Just wonderful........

What Tarot Card Are You?
Something to do to past the time. I cannot talk about the adoption since jack squat is happening so I will focus on fun, non nonsense type stuff.....
It says "Everything Goes My Way" -- yeah right -- it forgot I married a polish guy!
You are The Sun
Happiness, Content, Joy.
The meanings for the Sun are fairly simple and consistent.
Young, healthy, new, fresh. The brain is working, things that were muddled come clear, everything falls into place, and everything seems to go your way.
The Sun is ruled by the Sun, of course. This is the light that comes after the long dark night, Apollo to the Moon's Diana. A positive card, it promises you your day in the sun. Glory, gain, triumph, pleasure, truth, success. As the moon symbolized inspiration from the unconscious, from dreams, this card symbolizes discoveries made fully consciousness and wide awake. You have an understanding and enjoyment of science and math, beautifully constructed music, carefully reasoned philosophy. It is a card of intellect, clarity of mind, and feelings of youthful energy.
What Tarot Card are You?

Ok I guess I will post the disappointing referrals
They have referred up to to and including Sept 8th 2005.
Yes I'm happy for the new parents that have been waiting over 15 months for this to occur.
But it still rots...[I'm tempering what I really want to say because I know my parents read this blog].
There was a rumor about a large batch, all of September 2005 or at least most. This was very disappointing.
The writing is on the wall that this will be a very long wait. I was hoping at least to be in China by January 2008. Well, it is very doubtful that will happen unless China starts referring whole months at time instead of 10-14 days.
I also just read about family who switch to Vietnam in June (they were LID in March) and are now traveling to pick up their twin daughters. Oh so very tempting but knowing my luck it wouldn't work that way for us. Plus we are with a China Only agency so we would be out some big bucks. Also my gut still tells me China is it.......
SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAM
ah I feel better.....
now back to work.
